A Word from our Sixth Form Head…
Welcome to the Sixth form web page which you can use to find out about the many opportunities open to you as 16 – 19 year old student at Ysgol John Bright.
With around 200 students in the sixth form we are large enough to offer a wide range of choice of courses (26 subjects based at Ysgol John Bright together with a range of subjects offered within the Conwy Consortium). However, we are small enough to make sure that every student receives individual attention and guidance from a team of very experienced sixth from tutors.
As a route to higher education, further education, employment or training we will help you become a more independent learner taking increasing responsibility for your own success as your confidence and study skills develop. We try to ensure that all our students consistently achieve excellent results in all the courses on offer, and progress to their next career step through good guidance, good teaching and support.
To discuss options, or for further information, or arrange an interview or visit please do not hesitate to contact me.

We want to help you succeed and look forward to working with you at Ysgol John Bright.

Most students take out a loan to help them get through university or college. Remember that students now have to pay course fees as well as accommodation fees and living expenses. You can get information about student loans from the Student Loan Company.
