LLWYDDIANT YN YR EISTEDDFOD
- Rydym yn hynod o falch o lwyddiant Ellis Thomas yn Eisteddfod yr Urdd Caerffili 2015. Wedi cystadlu brwd llwyddod Ellis i gael llwyfan yn yr Unawd Llinynnol ac yn yr Unawd Piano. Cafodd ail yn yr Unawd Llinynnol wrth chwarae Remembrances o’r ffilm ‘Schindler’s List’ a derbyn medal Arian. Yn yr Unawd Piano chwaraeodd Ellis Liebestraum gan Liszt ac ar ôl perfformiad eithriadol derbyniodd Ellis Tlws Beti O Evans a’r fedal Aur. Rhagorol Ellis!
We are extremely proud of Ellis Thomas’ success in Eisteddfod yr Urdd in Caerphilly 2015. Ellis was chosen to perform on stage in both the String Solo and the Piano Solo. He was placed second in the String Solo after an inspirational performance of Remembrances from the film ‘Schindler’s List’. Ellis played Liebestraum by Liszt in the Piano Solo and after an exceptional and stirring performance Ellis received the Beti O Evans trophy and the Gold medal. Congratulations Ellis – you did us proud!
