On October 1st Hari Jones (Year 10) will be taking part in the Bethesda Zip Wire Challenge to raise money for the North Wales Society for the Blind – and is looking for your sponsorship!
The charity means a lot to Hari due to their wonderful help with his mum who suffers with her eyesight due to Diabetes. Hari said,
“Since December 2016 my mum has been having Retinopathy and fluid in her eyes, and after having laser treatment for eye bleeds, she has now been registered as severely sighted (blind). Mum still tries her best in everything she does, but often has to ask for assistance and her condition is life-changing for everyone. I’ve had to grow up and help her in many ways even down to helping her with her medication and insulin. The NWSB has been amazing with mum with help, advice and guidance. We wouldn’t have known where to begin without them.”
