Parent Internet Safety Evenings

Tuesday 14th March & Tuesday 21st March | 6pm

The Internet has drastically changed the way that children interact with the world. They have access to in-depth knowledge, tools to express their creativity, and people from all over the world. Yet along with offering a fascinating, new way to connect with the world, the Internet also offers new risks:

  • Cyberbullying
  • Exposure to inappropriate material
  • Online predators
  • Revealing too much personal information

To celebrate the many positives of the internet, and to raise awareness of the issues that children and young people face online today, Ysgol John Bright will be hosting two internet safety information evenings for parents and guardians of students in every year group:

  • Parents of students in years 7, 8 & 9: Tuesday 14th March, 6pm
  • Parents of students in years 10, 11, 12 & 13: Tuesday 21st March, 6pm

We really hope that you will be able to attend and look forward to seeing you there.
