Ennillwyr  Cystadleuaeth Y Fedal Ryddiaith
Winners of the Prose Medal  Competition

Cymraeg – Toby Roberts 7I    PENRHYN    Stori – Y Cangarw Drwg (story – The Naughty Kangaroo)
Saesneg – Emily Norton 7Y    PENRHYN    “What It Means To be Welsh”

Testun cystadleuaeth y Fedal Gymraeg eleni oedd creu stori neu lyfr ar gyfer plant ifanc.
The task this year in Cymraeg was to create a story or a book for young children.

Derbyniwyd 26 llyfr gan flynyddoedd 7 a 8.
26 entries were received from year 7 and 8.

Roedd amrywiaeth o straeon, rhai wedi’u dylunio yn gelfydd ac eraill wedi canolbwyntio mwy ar y stori.
Gan mai cystadleuaeth ysgrifenedig oedd hon roedd yn bwysig cael stori ddifyr. Roedd yr iaith yn bwysig iawn a braf oedd gweld llawer yn gallu ysgrifennu Cymraeg da.
A variety of stories and books were entered, some were illustrated creatively and others had concentrated more on the language and the story.
Since this was a writing competition, it was important to have an interesting story. The language was also very important and it was nice to see that many could write accurately in Welsh.

Yr ennilydd oedd Toby Roberts 7I o Benrhyn.
Llongyfarchiadau Toby!
