Students Aim High with Trip to Rovers

Ysgol John Bright technology students took part in a football-focused design and make activity at Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, as part of our schools enrichment day and the Technology Faculty ‘Aim High’ programmes.

Our partnership with Blackburn Community Trust has enabled 80 participating to utilise the Trust’s state of the art ICT facilities, producing high quality products and taking part in football coaching activities.

The trip was a great success, enriching our Technology curriculum and our Aim High initiative for our students.

Our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience with one student, Dione Evans commenting on how ‘constructive the day was’, and how she and her peers had “learned new skills that they could transfer and use in the classroom”.
